　　如果说《想当年》是费里尼对少年时代的回忆，《八部半》是对他中年创作危机的记载，《罗马》是对他所爱的城市的礼赞，那么本片就是他对Cinecitta电影厂的颂歌。
　　影片将回忆、嘲讽、自省、幻想等元素融合在一起，让我们见识了镜头前后的各种人物。影片高潮是《甜蜜的生活》的重映把片中主角重新聚集一堂，颇有一点大师主掌央视《同一首歌》的味道。

　　Three sisters with quite different personalities and lives reunite when Babe, the youngest, has just shot her husband. Oldest sister Lenny takes care of their grandfather and is turning into an old maid. Meg, who aspires to make it in moxia.cc Hollywood as a singer and actress, has had a wild, man-filled life. Their reunion is joyful but also stirs up much tension.

　　侦探乔（丹·艾克罗伊德 Dan Aykroyd 饰）和斯特雷贝克（汤姆·汉克斯 Tom Hanks 饰）被任命调查一宗发生在美国洛杉矶的命案。很快，一位名叫马兹（杰克·奥哈罗兰 Jack O'Halloran 饰）的男子落入了法网，他就是那个在案发现场留下了名片的人。
　　乔和斯特雷贝克顺藤摸瓜，查到了一个名叫PAGAN的邪教组织，在该组织举行献祭仪式时，乔和搭档救下了即将被当做祭品杀死的女子康尼（亚历姗卓拉·保罗 Alexandra Paul 饰）。康尼指认了绑架她的幕后黑手——当地德高望重的牧师乔纳森（克里斯托弗·普卢默 Christopher Plummer 饰），就在乔准备将其捉拿归案之际，他们的行动却遭到了警察局局长的阻挠。

　　索努（卡提克·亚利安 Kartik Aaryan 饰）和提图（桑尼·辛格·尼贾尔 Sunny Singh Nijjar 饰）是从小玩到大的青梅竹马，彼此之间的感情非常的要好。索努是一个能说会道眼明耳聪的机灵鬼，深受女士们的喜爱，而提图个性老实腼腆，总是会受那些坏女孩的利用和欺骗。
　　一天，提图告诉索努，他要和一个名叫斯威迪（努西拉特·巴努查 Nushrat Bharucha 饰）的女孩结婚，在提图的描述中，斯威迪美丽善良，是完美的化身，可这个女孩在索努看来，不过又是一个想要利用和伤害提图的坏蛋罢了。为了搅黄这门婚事，索努找来了提图的前女友皮胡（伊希塔·拉吉 Ishita Raj 饰）。

　　剧情看似异想天开，其实也写出了一些精明的人趁机混水摸鱼。继《再见女郎》之后，擅长以喜剧方式讽刺大都市荒谬人际关系的导演赫伯特．罗斯再度推出此片，也是男主角迈克尔．Ｊ．福克斯《回到未来》后又一轰动之作。迈克尔．J．福克斯在片中饰演从肯萨斯州到纽约谋业的青年布雷特，只能在一家国际贸易集团充当送信小弟，但也因此近水楼台听到了不少公司的内幕。当一名高级主管职位出缺而没有补人时，布雷特干脆利用他的办公室擅自发号施令，成为隐身的主管，甚至引起老板娘对他垂涎。导演赫伯特．罗斯把这部主要发生在企业大楼内的办公室喜剧拍得还算生动流畅，对职场生态尤多嘲讽。不过主要的吸引力还是来自福克斯的表演，他将当代年轻人渴望一步登天而不惜冒险的处世态度演得活灵活现，甚能引人共鸣。

　　狗蛋（郝邵文 饰）真心实意的暗恋着青梅竹马的玩伴小翠，然而情敌宇文的实力太过强大，任凭狗蛋如何对小翠展开猛烈的攻势，都得不到她的心。原来，小翠觉得狗蛋长得太胖了，于是狗蛋开始发奋减肥。丑妹为了讨狗蛋的欢心跟在他身后出谋划策，两人闹出了不少的笑话也惹了一身麻烦。
　　狗蛋进入海防部队成为了一名军人，可是，虽然身在军营，但军营内的管理却十分的混乱，毫无军法军纪，狗蛋依然过着闲散而又自由的生活。直到有一天，一位名叫包胜男的掌管被派往狗蛋所在的部队监督军纪，这令狗蛋一行人苦不堪言。狗蛋怂恿班长阿宪追求包胜男，以解决目前的困境。

　　一转眼，方立群（王正方 饰）在美国已经生活了快三十年了，虽然生活已经全盘西化，但在朋友和上司的眼里，方立群始终都是“异类”。因为老板对华人的歧视，方立群一怒之下辞了职，带着老婆格蕾丝（沙龙·艾瓦伊 Sharon Iwai 饰）和儿子保罗（余朝汉 饰）回到了北京投奔姐姐方立敏（慎广兰 饰）和姐夫老赵（胡晓光 饰），两家人住在四合院里。
　　方莉莉（李勤勤 饰）是方立敏的女儿，和男友刘一达（王霄 饰）交往多时，两人正在备考英语，准备报考同一所大学。保罗和他们的年纪差不多，所以三人很快就玩到了一起，结下了深厚的友谊。那边厢，方立群和方立敏两家人，虽然有着迥异的个性和截然不同的生活习惯，却依旧相处得其乐融融。

　　一位什么都有，什么都好，而只有鼻子比别人长的人，却爱上了一美丽、聪明的女天文学家，他只能用情书来表达对她的爱慕之意，但是这位女孩却相信一定是一位英俊潇洒的男士所写，这个痴情的男人要如何才能掳获心的芳心呢？本片是喜剧泰斗史提夫马丁亲自编剧的浪漫喜剧名片，他在片中饰演一个在华盛顿渡假区颇受敬重的消防队长，但却有一个令他感到不安的长鼻子，由于女主角阴错阳差的误会，演变成一场令人捧腹的恋曲，全片幽默十足，妙趣横生。

　　哈里和阿切30年前因抢劫火车未遂而被捕入狱，在监狱里呆了大半辈子出狱后，因不适应变化太大的社会而不得不重操旧业，两个年近70的老家伙打算趁30年前失手的那次行动的火车进行最后一次运行的时候再度打劫火车……

　　"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

　　Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.
